A few things we’re great at …
We are a bunch of dedicated Entropians, most being 15+ years in game. Next to socializing, which we’re great at, we also hunt, mine, craft and simply explore.
Our society is also known for other things, like crazy events, Adopt a Newbie Foundation, EntropiaTimes Magazine among other things.

The Church of Lootius
A society in the online real cash economy multiverse, Entropia Universe.
The Church of Lootius is a fictional and humorous “religion” that emerged within the online gaming community, particularly associated with the MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) Entropia Universe.
In Entropia Universe, players often hunt creatures or gather resources to obtain loot, which is random and can vary in value.
The term Lootius was created by players as a tongue-in-cheek response to the randomness of loot drops in the game.
Lootius is imagined as the god or deity of loot, and players would humorously “pray” or give thanks to Lootius when they received good loot, or curse when they received bad loot.
This mock religion grew as a way for players to express their frustrations or joys related to the luck-based mechanics of loot drops in the game.
It became part of Entropia’s culture, with players sharing memes, jokes, and stories revolving around Lootius. Even MindArk’s Marco mentioned Lootius in one of his in-game speaches.
The term ‘Lootius’ and the society “Church of Lootius” was created in 2005 by the former Master and roleplaying priest in game, Peter ViagraFalls Larsson and his nun, Ann Lykke TheNun.
The years to come after, a lot of great and today legendary members joined the Church.
Overall, the Church of Lootius is a lighthearted, helpfull society, and the Lootius concept is meant to add fun and community spirit to the experience of playing Entropia Universe.
Member requirements
If you have a burning desire to become a part of Church of Lootius, read below.
As you may know, the Church of Lootius has seen its share of legendary members who have journeyed with us through thick and thin.
Many of these wise souls have now stepped down to focus on real-life adventures, but their legacy remains forever etched in the foundation of our society. They will always be part of the CoL family, cherished and remembered as the
pillars of our community.
However, the time has come to bring fresh blood into our ranks. We need new, dedicated members to continue spreading the word of Lootius and sharing the joy of this incredible game. If you’re ready to pick up the mantle and join a
society that values camaraderie, trust, and, of course, the all-mighty loot, then read on!
What We’re Looking For
It’s main to us, that we connect perfectly well before accepting. Communication and being social is key.
Level 20+ in any profession
Whether you’re a mighty hunter, a skilled crafter, an down-to-earth miner, an animal looter or pet handler, as long as you’ve hit level 20, you’re eligible to join our ranks.
Experience Matters
You’ve been around the block and know your way around the game. We’re looking for those who have the knowledge and the passion to contribute to our community.
Dedication to Lootius
This isn’t just another society – we are the faithful followers of Lootius, the great provider of all loot. We expect our members to be devoted, to spread the good word, and to sprinkle a little loot love wherever they go.
Exceptions
We sometimes make exceptions for the admission of members. As mentioned, the personal connection is the key to membership. If you don’t fit into the above, don’t worry. Meet us in Entropia and we’ll take it from there.
What We Don’t Want
No scammers, resellers, grabbers, noobs (unless they’re disciples), teenagers, or twats. If any of these labels apply to you, keep scrolling – the Church of Lootius isn’t for you.
For Our New Members and Disciples
Disciples Welcome
If you’re mentoring a disciple, they can join the Church of Lootius under the same rules as full members. After their learning period, they’ll need to apply and prove their worth to become true members.
Earn Your Place
We don’t give out free rides. To become a true member, you’ve got to prove yourself, and that’s how Lootius smiles upon you. You will therefor have 3 weeks of testing period. And after this we will tell you, if you will be fully accepted
as a member of CoL.
How to apply
Ready to join a community that feels like family, where faith in Lootius and trust in each other are the cornerstones? Submit your application in game today, or hook up with us, either Master, Ann Lykke TheNun, or First Circle Member,
Kris Kristoliquid Michaud.
Our Sacred Rules
Faithfulness to Lootius
Your devotion should be unwavering, like your love for gaming. Keep the faith strong, and the loot will follow!
Trust and Honor
We are a society built on trust – no fibbing, no begging, and definitely no scamming. If you’re someone who values honor, you’ll fit right in.
Weekly Devotion
We ask that our members log in at least once a week. Consider it a short pilgrimage – just a few clicks, and you’re there. Life happens, so if you need to step away, just let us know. We’re all about understanding.
Reverence for Legends
We cherish our veterans, especially those who joined before 2017. They’re our wise elders, and we treat them with the respect they deserve. If you joined after 2017, show your dedication and earn your place in our family.
Positivity and Peace
In the Church of Lootius, we’re all about good vibes. Be kind, be positive, be (and have) fun, and remember: Lootius is watching.
What happens in CoL, stays in CoL
Members of the Church of Lootius are entrusted with society’s shared information, which is meant to stay within our community. What we discuss here is for members only.
Praise and Blessings
We believe in spreading the blessings of Lootius. Be generous, be kind, and share the loot love with others.
