Entropia Universe 2025 recap: Love, Loss & Loot

Dear Lootius – New Year. Same Universe.

2025 has been a year where life handed me losses with one hand, and quietly slipped me a few gifts with the other. Some days I felt like the strongest avatar in the Universe. Other days I felt like I had no armour at all. Here’s TheNun’s 2025 recap story on love and loss, skilling up, building websites, taking over Atlas Haven Radio, and bringing back a LOT of parties to the Universe. Happy New Year, Entropians. Be prepared, this is my longest blogpost yet.

2025 was the year I lost two important men in my life.

My younger brother passed away in March. I found him myself. It hit harder than I thought it would. Even though I had helped him through illness for the last two years and knew where it was heading, it still caught me off guard. Grief does not care how prepared you think you are.

Fourteen days after that, I lost my job of nine years. It wasn’t because of performance or drama. But because of a structural change where European markets had to use the same agency for their websites, based in Poland. And honestly, I was much more relieved than sad.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved my job. But I had worked evenings, weekends, and vacations for years. And after losing my brother, I needed a break so badly that I simply could not grieve something as ordinary as a job at the same time.

In August, my dad passed away too. He was 94 and had Alzheimer’s. I had helped my parents through the last six years. Moving them from their home to an elderly home. Taking over their economy & handling the hard decisions, small & big stuff.

My dad was very ill the last few years, and the best thing for him, and for my mom, was that he could finally rest. He never wanted to end where he did. But he was an incredibly strong man. And I am sure he did not want to leave my mom behind. They had been married for more than 65 years, and been together for even longer. Imagine what kind of love that was.

This Year Was Not Only About Losses

It was also about finding strength, reflecting over what is important in life, and what you want in it. I have always been good at living in the moment and moving forward, never dwell, but 2025 forced me to pause, really pause, and think.

We are not getting younger, even if we do not feel older. And even though I am fiercely independent and strong, it was a very pleasant surprise to find love again. Especially when I did not expect it, or even looked for it. It was suddenly just there. And in the form I would never have thought it would be. TheNun and the pirate, Force Majeure … Who would have ever believed that anyway? A match made in heaven. Or hell, depending on what we’re doing that evening 😉

Sometimes life works in the most unpredictable ways – and so does Lootius, and that is what makes life so wonderful. It expanded my creativity and my life, and it reminded me that love can show up in forms you would never have imagined, and feel completely magical and real.

Other than that, some friends turned out not to be friends, and other, better friendships formed. Creativity grew and grows stronger. 2025 turned out to be a wonderful, vibrant year. And definitely not the kind you sleep through. Just the way I personally love it!

Church of Lootius: From Faith to Full Production

On a Church of Lootius level, 2025 has been wild in the best way. We expanded, evolved, and went from being “just a society” to a place for Media and Events. The Church itself went from being a neutral church, to having a light and a dark church too. A few members left, and new members joined.

I created a new website for Church of Lootius, and in late February we took over the administration of Atlas Haven Radio. Together with Shadowsong, we were not only hosting events but also filling the Universe itself with music, DJs, live shows, and fun, and that special kind of Entropia energy you cannot explain to normal people. And thanks to NEVERDIE, we are now also able to broadcast live shows on planet ROCKtropia, in Hell, on Secret Island and Howling Mine when we have events and parties. Just brings it to the next level.

We are having live shows with AlfaOmega Winterwolf, Capt Solis Starmonger, Shadowsong – and even the founder of Atlas Haven Radio, Tia Westmoreland. On the DJ playlist we have players like Winterking, Kalanen, Entropians own music and various different play lists set up by Shadowsong. Of course this will continue in 2026 together with more music, more shows and more parties both in game and on Atlas Haven Radio Discord server, were we chat, listen to music, watch streams, cam, and have fun. And YOU are always welcome to join the fun too, share your music mood, and just be. We often just hang out on the server, and you can always jump in …

Building New Places

Alongside all of that, I also built EntropiaPlayer. A full website with a growing Wiki and basic information about the game. Unfortunately I’m always full of new projects, and didn’t have the needed time to build more on the site yet – but it will come. With EntropiaPlayer, I also build EntropiaPlayer.com/forum, which started out as an all planet forum. I quickly realised the Universe has enough forums for everything, and therefor I recently turned it into the forum I found was needed – and where my heart goes (yes, that’s one of my songs too 😉 ) for ROCKtropia, Secret Island, Hell, and Howling Mine.

I love working with websites and forums – it’s been my profession for years – and I always loved it. Building structure out of ideas, creating spaces where people can gather, share knowledge, plan events, and leave a mark has been a core part of me since making EntropiaPlanets many years back (including many other forums e.g. Planet Cyrene and Arkadia forums). It adds so much to my personal experience of forming and creating, both in and outside the Universe.

Creating a Wiki is not just pages and categories, but part of the world-building. A way of saying, this Universe matters enough to document, map, and share. And a forum is not just a forum either. It is a campfire where people show up, tell stories, share wins, share disasters, and somehow turn into a community. That’s my wish for EntropiaPlayer and ROCKtropia forum – so please, if you like it, join and help us make it grow together.

The Return of The Parties

With taking over Atlas Haven Radio, and with the opening of Howling Mine, we also began making structured, planned events and parties at Club NEVERDIE in cooperation with NEVERDIE himself.

NEVERDIE has held Club NEVERDIE for 20 years. He was the first to bring concerts and parties to the Universe. Now we brought them back with planning, teamwork, and a shared goal of making the Universe feel alive again, and to Build A Better Entropia, B.A.B.E.

And we are not stopping of course, so if you missed a party in 2025 know, that you get the chance to shake your booty in 2026.

Here is a list of the Club NEVERDIE parties and happenings we threw at Howling Mine in 2025:

• February 1st: Break The Limit Of Sound. Rave beats in space. Party finale at Club NEVERDIE.
• March 1st: Let’s Get The Party Started. 80s, 90s, and disco. A proper kickoff.
• March 22nd: Space and Pirate Party. Because of course I would combine those.
• April 26nd: Beach Party. Sun, sand, and people overdressed for the occasion.
• May 31st: Fantasy and Sci Fi Party. Nerd heaven. Lootius approved.
• July 5th: Sands of Sound. Dune themed madness with live DJ energy.
• July 26th: Welcome Home Noobs. Because you’re never too noobish to party.
• August 30st: Rock and Pop Legends. Loud & fun. Exactly the point.
• October 25th: Halloween Party: Dance of The Living Dead. Glorious outfits. Questionable choices. Perfect.
• November 22nd: Come As You Are. No theme. No pressure. Just people showing up as themselves.
• December 20th: Special Mob Spawn and Party to Celebrate 20 Years of Club NEVERDIE. Because legends deserve spotlight.

Yes, We Also Did Events in HELL

A Nun should be able to handle both heaven and hell. Preferably in heels and halo, but I am practical. We made events in HELL on ROCKtropia too, because some of you have the spiritual need to punch something beautifully evil with your bare hands.

One of the highlights was the Nakid Fisting Horny Little Devils event in the Scott’s Valley Dome. If you know, you know. And yes, at one time we also ended up on the parking lot on ROCKtropia with fisting Vixens, because apparently that sentence is part of my life now. This is why Lootius made me TheNun. No other profession could possibly justify this schedule.

And of course I made a fisting-song too … lol .. go figure

Entropia Walk of Fame Awards

In November, we held the very first Entropia Walk of Fame Awards, and it was a big success.

It hit something important in the community. Because behind all the gear, stats, skills, and ego, there is still one thing that matters most in Entropia: People.

The awards were not about who has the biggest gun, but more about who shows up, who builds, who helps, who creates, and who makes the universe feel alive. MindArk helped with some awesome, unique prizes too. We definitely plan to make this an annual event, so count on it. It will follow the same setup as the first one. The community can nominate players, and in the end a committee will pick the winners. But who knows … now that we have a voting feature in game, we might let the Universe decide.

And talking about awesome people, Church of Lootius also hosted a few Fashion events this year:

And of course we did a Halloween event too – this year in Hell in corporation with MindArk, who spawned some awesome creatures.

Back To Music: Coming Home After Years Away

Late last year, I started making music. In 2025 it turned into content creation for Entropia, with Entropia specific music and videos. It became a creative break that made a real difference for me.

Music has always been part of me. I played piano for hours a day from I was 4 till I was 20. I composed small tracks. I did the language and music line and choir in Gymnasium. I learned tracks by ear. Then life happened and I had a long pause. A very long pause …

When I discovered Suno, it was like coming home after years away. Please, follow me on Suno if you use it too – I have new tracks there that I yet didn’t turn into music videos: suno.com/lykkethenun

And no, it is not “all AI”. It is always my own lyrics, my ideas, my taste, my direction. AI is the instrument. I am still the one playing. For mastering my songs I use Bandlab.com – and this is the place I use to split the music from suno up into pieces and put them back together if I need to.

For the videos I’m using in game footage or create a bunch of strings in different programs, recently I used Grok.com – where I change stunning images into 6 seconds strings to follow an already designed storyline. After this, I combine the mastered music wav file and the small bits of video strings into a full blown music video.

Speaking of AI, I am also expanding my knowledge right now taking a diploma in AI, and on top of that an extended paid American course as an AI entrepreneur. Because when the world changes, I would rather surf it than complain about the waves.

The Game Part, Skills & Gear

On a game level, TheNun skilled up extremelt fast this year. I went from around 170 HP in January to be heading towards 300 at a speed level that surprised even me.

Bigger guns, better armour, amps and enhancers. All that good stuff that makes the universe feel less like a struggle and more like a playground with teeth. But the real upgrade is having a partner to share the journey with, who’s as into everything fun Entropia has to offer as I am.

Lootius has been pretty nice to me, and the progress is satisfying. But someone to laugh and enjoy with while the universe tries to chew you up makes everything even better.

New Year Blessing

I wish for everyone that 2026 will be rich, full of joy, full of fun, full of love, and of course full of the good kind of surprises. I hope fo you, that you will find what you are looking for, if you’re looking of course. And if you’re not looking, that something unexpectedly wonderful will show up and improve your life in ways you never dreamed of. And for those who struggled in 2025, may 2026 open the door to everything good life can offer.
