The Launch That Sparked a Revival

Dear Lootius,

This Tuesday marked a new chapter for Entropia Universe, as it officially launched on Steam. And seriously, what a week it’s been! I had the honour of standing at Icarus, promoting the Church of Lootius, Atlas Haven Radio, EntropiaPlayer.com, and of course, our ‘Welcome Home, Noobs’ Sweat Party on Howling Mine. What unfolded was one of the most refreshing, exciting, and hopeful weeks in a long time.

Toast to New Beginnings

The very first day, we kicked things off with a spontaneous pop-up party. Bottles of virtual champagne were opened, and veteran players gathered to welcome the new arrivals. The vibe was electric, with curious newcomers dropping in steadily – some wide-eyed, some cautious, all eager to explore our world.

The following days brought a steady stream of new players joining in. Not in droves, but in meaningful, curious trickles. Their excitement was contagious. For the first time in a while, the Church of Lootius made an exception and welcomed fresh blood into our ranks – and it was worth it. Some of these new faces were already asking the right questions and showing a genuine spark for Entropia.

The Joy of Discovery

At Icarus, I did the Gauntlet instance for the first time with Shadowsong on Tuesday, and yesterday I had the joy of guiding a newcomer through it as well. Watching new players running around in teams, excitedly shooting and fapping their way through mobs while chatting away in local seriously transported me right back to when I first entered this Universe 20 years ago. That sense of wonder and limitless possibility is still here.

And I’ve never seen Icarus this alive. The Rookie channel is buzzing, the terminals are crowded, and there’s this pulse that’s hard to describe. It feels like Entropia is waking up again.

One of the moments that touched me deeply was when someone called me an angel. But truly, there are many angels among us. So many veterans are taking time to help, guide, and support the new players. And I genuinely feel the wave of positive energy rolling through the game right now is strong enough to drown out the few negative voices still trying to reach the surface.

Lifting Off in Style

I also flew a few newcomers around in my beloved Trident. A ship I’ve fallen completely in love with. It’s fast, smooth, and easily one of the most impressive spacecrafts in the entire Universe. The more I fly it, the more I adore it. There’s just something uniquely satisfying about soaring across space, giving someone their first real taste of the stars.

A Growing Web of Knowledge

Behind the scenes, I worked hard to bring our Knowledge Base up to speed. The wiki now includes a growing section on professions, helping newcomers understand their first steps. A live AI chatbot was also introduced on the front page of the site that links directly to the wiki and answers questions on the fly.

Next on the list is the Content Creators page, highlighting the talented individuals who make Entropia shine beyond the game. The forum is slowly waking up too, but for now, my focus is on filling in the knowledge gaps to make the transition into Entropia as smooth as possible for everyone. But please, support us by joining anyway 😉

The Party of the Season

Yesterday, the Howling Mine lit up once again with our ‘Welcome Home, Noobs’ Sweat Party. And what a night! It was easily one of the most visited parties to date. We danced, we laughed, we sweated (quite literally), and even the afterparty at TheNun’s place had a strong turnout well into the early hours. Over eight hours in-game … makes a Nun a bit tired on Sundays lol.

Even better, we had the second-most people ever joining the AHR Discord voice channel for the event. It all came together in a way that made the night truly unforgettable.

Of course, as with all long celebrations, the final stretch got a little … let’s say, over-spirited. It became clear that even among adults, some ground rules are necessary. So as of yesterday afternoon, we’ve introduced clear voice chat guidelines in the Atlas Haven Radio Discord server, and we’ll be enforcing them moving forward with no exceptions.

We will not tolerate personal attacks, harassment, or disruptive behaviour such as shouting over others to dominate the conversation. Everyone deserves to feel welcome, heard, and respected. We’re here to have fun and not to silence each other.

To wind down, I took a quiet hour for myself hunting Eomon, just me, the desert and stars. It gave me the clarity I needed to reflect and get ready for another day of building up and moving forward.

A Final Blessing

Lastly, I want to say a massive thank you to everyone who traded with me and donated items and PEDs for the Church events. The generosity yesterday was truly overwhelming. I was speechless. You all reminded me why this game, this universe and especially this community matters so much. You really make a difference ❤️

To the newcomers: Welcome.
To the veterans: Thank you for showing up.
To Lootius: Thanks for the noobs. We’ll feed them, guide them and try not to break them.

This is just the beginning.

Build A Better Entropia B.A.B.E.

Yours,
TheNun
