Dear Lootius,
In the endless swirl of PED, mobs, and loot windows, it’s easy to forget that Entropia Universe isn’t just built by developers. Our Universe is shaped daily by the hands and voices of its players. Some stream, some write, some guide new arrivals through sweating fields and confusing interfaces. Some make events, some are mentoring newbs or even help make the wheels turning by doing small services for others. These are the unsung heroes who turn a complex RCE into something warmer: A great community.
Content Creators
Lootius surely smiles at those who spend hours recording, editing, streaming, or writing guides. Whether it’s a YouTube channel explaining the best hunting spots, a Twitch streamer showing the good, the bad, and the hilarious, or bloggers who put feelings into words (yes, guilty as charged XD ), these creators are the storytellers of our world. They give new players hope and veterans new reasons to stay.
Advisors and Mentors
Then there are the advisors. The new helpers patiently answering questions most of us don’t have the patience for. “Where do I get a sweat tool?” “Why can’t I loot this creature?” “How do I make PED without depositing?” “Who the fuck is Lootius?”
Without judgement, they answer again and again, planting seeds of patience and guidance to new as old. Remember, they are players too, so treat them kindly and with respect. Also, don’t bug them with MindArk related questions 😉 They often don’t know more than another skilled player – but they dedicate their precious time to help those who doesn’t now as much.
Community Builders
Others host events, create music or / and DJ for hours on public radio stations, run forums/sites, or keep Discord servers alive. They don’t always stream or wear the advisor badge, but they carry the torch of community. They remind us that in this Universe, survival isn’t only about DPS, MU or TT returns, but about the connection to other players.
The Bigger Picture
Lootius gave us an Universe where entry costs nothing, but every step forward is earned. Content Creators and Advisors remind us that wealth isn’t always measured in PED. Sometimes it’s the shared smile in chat window, the relief when a question is answered, or the fun at a newbie event. These things may not fill our wallets, but they fill the Universe with life. And that in itself can be rewarding.
So today’s sermon is one of gratitude. To every creator, every advisor, every player who builds instead of just consuming. May your loot pool be blessed, your showers golden (yeah, I know … ), and your patience endless. Without you, Entropia would be just another MMO. With you, it’s a living, breathing universe.
A Fun Little Episode
The other day, MA hosted a surprise pop-up event at Atlas Haven, where hundreds of players battled against giant Spina Queens and their soldiers. As always, the loot was a hot topic. The same five players kept spamming local with complaints about “shit loot,” accusing MA of “being paid to go on vacation,” and demanding “where’s our items?”
But yet, they stayed.
I couldn’t resist pointing out in chat that someone probably paid for their vacations too! And they are free to leave if they don’t enjoy it (but please do stay to fill the loot pool 😀 ) … bad, bad Nun. But whatever we like the idea or not, MindArk is a company like any other, and we as customers cover everything from salaries to holidays. But here’s what struck me: if those players were really only in it for the PED, they would have stormed off after the first rant. They didn’t. They stayed, shouting between waves, but still fighting, still taking part.
And my guess is, that they stayed because deep down they were having fun. They enjoyed the challenge, the thrill, and above all, being part of the crowd. That’s the heart of it: the community and fun, shared moments.
So thank you to MA and Socrates for putting it together. Lootius tagged along too – and between all the looting, yelling, and dying, we had ourselves a blast 😀
EntropiaPlayer: A Place for Creators
As part of this spirit, I’m building Content Creator pages on EntropiaPlayer to showcase and support those who contribute. If you’re a streamer, blogger, event host, advisor – a Content Creator for the community – and you don’t yet see yourself on the list – reach out to me. Even if your page is already in progress, you’re welcome to contact me so we can make sure it reflects you and your work.
Big or small, you’re all a part of Entropia’s heartbeat, and I’ll promote and link your services as much as I can through EntropiaPlayer. So if you provide a site, tool, in-game service (could be fleet), forum, etc. – contact me and I will add it on the upcoming service pages.
Real-life events have slowed things down a little, but I’ll soon be back on track with the site. The Church of Lootius also has plenty of upcoming events planned, so keep an eye out 🙂
And Speaking of Creation …
Only a few hours ago, I released a new track inspired by Lootius himself. More Entropia-inspired music is already in the works, and you’ll also hear it spinning on Atlas Haven Radio in future, where the music never sleeps – streaming 24/7.
So let’s keep building, keep creating, and keep the faith in this strange, wonderful Universe of ours.
Build A Better Entropia B.A.B.E.
And may Lootius be with you when doing so,
