Yesterday we hosted the Calypso Fashion Extravaganza Autumn 2025. It’s the third time we’ve run the show, the very first was just a year ago, and every time it grows bigger and brighter. What many don’t see is the months of preparation leading up to an event like this. Banners, posts, images, music, videos, coordination, planning, late nights, last-minute fixes … and then, after the event, all the follow-up: threads, rewards, thank-yous. And, of course, starting to plan the next one.
We’re just a small media and event crew under the Church of Lootius banner. We dream of being able to offer everything an umbrella like that should hold, but sometimes, the lack of time and hands slows us down. We fund hosting, advertising, prizes, and all the little costs ourselves, or rely on donations from generous Entropians. It’s not for everyone to sacrifice so much “just for a game” you already pay for. We know that – and that’s why we rarely ask.
But yesterday, we had to.
And Lootius listened, and Entropians answered.
Hands That Shape the Show
The crew itself is incredible. TheNun has the best “hand” on the team (though she still forgets to press record on Twitch 😅). Shadowsong is as skilled, engaged, and dedicated as they come. Cosmic is always a huge help with streaming and images.
Still, we lacked more cameras, more coverage. And then magic truly happened.
- Wolf Nyx stepped in to help backstage, offering support where it was badly needed. He’s a DJ too, and we hope to hear him on Atlas Haven Radio in the future.
- Bambideath … what a powerhouse! In no time he had banners, videos, jingles, and personalised speaker intros for every participant. He guided a very lost Nun through Streamlabs and Twitch, and kept the energy flowing on show night.
- Lorespade (Yes, I know you where quickly in and quickly out LS, but it really meant a lot to me – thank you), and others chipped in with solutions during late-night tests.
- Disi jumped in to do free planet pick-ups, as generous (and fun 😀 ) as always.
- Lars Sebra, Head of CRT, surpriced TheNun by acting as her personal bodyguard, throwing down troublemakers with style.
- Macko shared a stunning set of photos afterwards.
- Not to mention the dozens of support and suggestion messages from other creators who couldn’t be directly involved.
If I forgot to name someone, forgive me. You all have my deepest respect and gratitude.
What We Can Do Together
The point with this thread – and many of my blogposts lately about this community, is not only to send out my blessings to great people. The point is, that when we work together – not against each other – when we look forward and NOT backwards – when we move and create, and don’t stand still in a pond of own selfcentered misery – we can achieve amazing things when we join forces. And this IS what Entropia should be about.
Players from all over came to watch. Even NEVERDIE peeked down from his asteroid hunting to see the show. Contestants amazed us again with their creativity. I expected gorgeous dresses, but the variety and detail in male fashion this time really surprised me too, textures, colours, and combinations I’d never seen before.
People cheered, danced, and lit fireworks. At the same time, on the Atlas Haven Radio Party Stream, the backstage team ran commentary, dropped fun jingles, and created a second stage for those tuning in from elsewhere. It was a real party, lively, loud, and logged for the record.
